Apple is reportedly developing a robot according to Bloomberg.
“Our team works at the intersection of modern machine learning and robotics to shape the AI that will power the next generation of Apple products,” according to an Apple job description. “We are looking for innovative and hardworking ML and robotics researchers and engineers that help us research, define, and develop complex intelligent robotic systems and experiences in the real world.”

Apple is pivoting towards artificial intelligence (AI) in its next operating systems as it plays catchup with competitors in the ambient computing space. Expect to learn more about AI at WWDC24 in June.
Better idea than building a car. I guess Google will respond by building Electric Sheep. But seriously, this could fly since there is a growing acceptance of smart appliances and this is just the next logical evolution.
