Life Day, a sacred Wookie tradition centred around family, is synonymous with the Star Wars Holiday Special.
The infamous Star Wars spin-off was broadcast, only once, on the CBS channel on 17th November 1978, and introduced audiences to fan-favourite bounty hunter Boba Fett prior to the release of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. Many fans (myself included) outside the US got to see Boba Fett, for the first time, as a mail-away action figure from Kenner.
